Beyond work, I am a writer, traveler, music-enthusiast, lover of seafood, use-your-feet-to-get-there person, and human advocate.

In 2016, I co-founded the nonprofit organization BarberQue with three friends.
A unique celebration of life that occurs when you combine the functionality of a barbershop with the delicious grub of a barbecue, the mission of the BarberQue project is to provide resources to a marginalized and often alienated group of people, create awareness around the issue of homelessness in Chicago, and build a community of acceptance and support.
